Making Waste Work – A Toolkit
‘Making Waste Work: A Toolkit Community Waste Management in Low and Middle-Income Countries’ was commissioned by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management 2017/18 President Dr David Wilson and produced by WasteAid.
The step-by-step instructions for a range of recycling technologies have been illustrated by artist Susan Hatfield, creating an easy-to-follow format.
The toolkit and how-to guides are freely available to share for non-commercial use under a Creative Commons licence, and the guidance has been produced in mobile-friendly as well as print versions. In 2018 the toolkit was recognised by the International Solid Waste Association as one of the year’s top publications.
